Titan Strong Motion Accelerometer

The Titan is a force balance triaxial accelerometer providing exceptional performance over a wide frequency range from DC to 430Hz.  The Titan is engineered for high precision free field strong motion and structural monitoring applications requiring exceptional dynamic range combined with ultra-low self-noise performance comparable to many broadband seismometers.

The Titan is the first accelerometer to incorporate digitally selectable full scale range and offset zeroing capabilities.  The Titan is ideal for applications where the instruments are difficult to access or where frequent site visits are undesireable.

 

Titan Strong Motion Accelerograph

The Titan Accelerograph (AG) is a strong motion instrument designed for high precision observational and structural engineering applications, where scientists and engineers require exceptional dynamic range over a wide frequency band.

The internal force feedback triaxial accelerometer is software configurable for full scale ranges of 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 g. Noise floor performance is comparable to some broadband seismometers.  This low noise floor, combined with exceptional low hysteresis, yields superior results in structural monitoring applications especially when integrating for displacement.

Titan AG supports HTTP data communications, which requires only Internet website access from within the host IT network to stream continuous or event data.  This firewall friendly protocol is ideal for near real-time rapid response networking.
