As part of the Earthquake Early Warning System (EEWS) Development program, PT. Mindotama Avia Teknik successfully organized a series of training sessions for the BMKG team in 2024. The training was conducted in three phases to ensure a comprehensive transfer of knowledge and to strengthen the technical capabilities of personnel involved in the implementation and operation of the system.

The first phase of the training was held in May 2024 at Hotel Mirah, Bogor. This initial session focused on introducing the overall concept of the EEWS Development program, including system architecture, operational principles, communication flow, and the integration of monitoring and processing components. Participants were provided with an overview of the system and its role in supporting rapid earthquake detection and early warning dissemination.

The second phase took place in September 2024 at Hotel Swiss-bel, Serpong Tangerang. During this session, the training moved to a more advanced level, emphasizing the technical operation of the system, data communication, monitoring procedures, and the integration of various subsystems. Participants also received practical instruction regarding system configuration, operational workflows, and routine maintenance procedures.

The third and final phase was conducted in November 2024 at Hotel Grand Dafam, Bandung. This stage focused on advanced system implementation, troubleshooting, operational simulations, and practical exercises designed to evaluate the readiness of the BMKG team in operating the EEWS. Through a series of case studies and simulation scenarios, participants were able to strengthen their understanding and improve their ability to respond effectively under various operational conditions.

Throughout all three phases, the training program facilitated active interaction, technical discussion, and knowledge sharing between PT. Mindotama Avia Teknik and the BMKG team. The activities reflected the shared commitment of both institutions to developing a reliable and effective earthquake early warning system for Indonesia.
